Hello Tumblr followers. Apologies, but Hamilton City Live is moving from Tumblr. It’s a great blogging site, but we’ve found it a bit unreliable and need a proper independent server to host the page.
Hamiltoncitylive.co.nz will be up and running again soon, but we are going to set it up so that our new website automatically updates this tumblr account as well … you’ll still get Hamilton news events through your Tumblr feed but the focus will be on the new website.
Thanks again for following!
Nick
The next Hamilton Slamdown Poetry night is on Monday 25th July at the Lido Cinema.
Participate or observe either way you are welcome and we want you to come! If you want to participate please let Kashka know before Monday 25th July (email kashkatunstall@gmail.com)
Format: If you have been before you will know how this goes down, if its your first time attending we welcome you….
The idea is to either write orignial poetry, or recite well-known poems on stage as a theatrical performance, so to inspire the audience and keep them engaged.
We are changing it up a little in that we will have some acoustic numbers during the slam. If you are interested in performing an acoustic number let kashka know…..
For more info, check out the Hamilton Slamdown Poetry Facebook page.
